NEW BRITAIN:  Costco Wholesale Corporation has purchased 15± acres of land from the City of New Britain to construct a 157,000 SF wholesale club.  This complex transaction includes the relocating of 3 holes of the city-owned Stanley Golf Course and several land swaps with the State of Connecticut and Costco's additional land purchases.  Joe Montesano of Northwest Atlantic Partners of Danbury and The Proto Group, LLC represented Costco in its purchases.

OLD SAYBROOK, CT:  Sally Beauty Supply signed a five-year lease for 1,760 SF at Old Saybrook Shopping Center at 655 Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook, CT.  The landlord, Matthew Rubin, Trustee, was represented by Ron Fotin of NAI James E. Hanson.  Sally Beauty was represented by The Proto Group.

NEW HAVEN, CT:  Bridgeport based The WorkPlace has leased 864 SF of office space in the Powerhouse Building at 458 Grand Avenue in New Haven.  The Proto Group was the sole broker in the transaction.

NEW HAVEN, CT:  Abhe & Svoboda, Inc. from Portland, CT has leased 792 SF of office space at the Powerhouse Building on 458 Grand Avenue in New Haven.  The Proto Group LLC was the sole broker in the transaction.
