Carol Hutchinson of Charter Realty & Development represented the landlord, Old Saybrook Associates LLC, and The Proto Group represented the tenant.

 

MILLBURY, MA: Sally Beauty Supply has signed a ten-year lease at The Shoppes at Blackstone Valley, Millbury, MA for a 1,824 SF storefront. Betsey Szemlea of WS Development represented the landlord and Cushman & Wakefield in St. Louis, MO and The Proto Group represented the tenant.

The lease value is in excess of $118,000. Harvest Park Associates is a subsidiary of Verna Development from Wallingford, CT. The Proto Group LLC of North Haven, CT was the sole broker.

 

WALLINGFORD, CT: Compass Group USA has leased 2,850 SF at 801 North Main Street in Wallingford, CT. The company signed a 2-year lease with options. The landlord is 801 North Main Street Associates LLC, a subsidiary of Verna Developers of Wallingford. Compass Group USA is represented by Cushman Wakefield and locally, Arnold Peck handled the transaction. The Proto Group LLC of North Haven represented the landlord.

 

NORTH HAVEN, CT: Durant’s LLC of Wappinger Falls, NY has completed the purchase of A to Z Rental Center at 631 Washington Avenue, North Haven, CT.  The seller, A to Z Rental Center, LLC has operated in the location since the 1960’s.  Durant’s signed a five-year lease to remain in the property as part of the business sale.  The buyer was represented by it attorney Dale Lois.  The seller and landlord, 631 Washington Avenue, LLC, were represented by attorney Paul Proto.  The Proto Group was the sole broker involved in the trasnsaction.

 

NEWINGTON, CT: Joan-Alice Taylor purchased 9 Elmwood Court, Newington, CT from D2 LLC for $275,000. Ms. Taylor has been a tenant in the building for a long-time operating Taylor Therapy Center and was able to negotiable a purchase once the property was offered for sale. The Proto Group was the only broker involved in the sale.
