SEYMOUR, CT: Hendel Investors has purchased the former Shell Gas and Sweets & Eats property on Route 67 in Seymour, opposite the Route 8 exit ramp. Attorney Ramon Sous represented himself in the transaction. The Proto Group LLC was the sole broker. The purchase price was $950,000. Hendel will be constructing a new state of the art gas station and convenience store on the property.
WEST HAVEN, CT: Huseyin Akarsu and Yucel Otay have leased the 3,290 sf right end cap at 39 Elm Street in West Haven, CT anchored by Lorenzo's Italian Restaurant. The Tenant will operate as Nazar Halal Meat Market. The Proto Group LLC was the sole broker in the transaction. The ten-year lease has a value of approximately $450,000.
MILFORD, CT: Sonic, America's Drive In has signed a long-term sublease at the former Arby's at 1365 Boston Post Road in Milford, CT opposite the Connecticut Post Mall. The sublease is valued at $2,000,000. The Proto Group LLC was the sole broker in the transaction. Robert Mesite, Managing Member of Sonic of CT, handled the negotiations as well as Attorney Dennis Ceneviva of Meriden who represents Sonic of CT.
NEW HAVEN, CT: CAPP Associates, LLC has leased to The Fusco Corporation 6,000 sf of warehouse space in the newly remodeled Powerhouse Building on Grand Avenue in New Haven. The Proto Group LLC was the sole broker in this transaction.
NEW HAVEN, CT: Wheeler Clinic of Plainville has leased 1,159 sf of office space at 458 Grand Avenue, the newly remodeled Powerhouse Building. Neil Godfrey of Simons Real Estate from West Hartford represented the Tenant; The Proto Group LLC represented the Landlord. The five-year lease has a value in excess of $85,000.
MANSFIELD, CT: Five Star UConn LLC d/b/a Bruegger's Bagels and Jama Juice has leased 2,713 sf in the new Storrs Center Development. Dan Zelson of Charter Realty represented the Landlord and The Proto Group represented the Tenant. The ten-year lease value was in excess of $900,000.
GREENWICH, CT: The Proto Group has represented New England Retina in its renewal of their existing lease at Sound Beach Avenue in Greenwich. The lease value was in excess of $163,000. Glenn DiGiancomo of Ivy Realty represented the Landlord.
TORRINGTON, CT: Aspen Dental has leased the former People's United Bank on East Main Street in front of Super Stop & Shop and Applebee's. The Proto Group represented the Landlord and Andy Grocki of Sullivan Hayes represented the Tenant. Bruce Temkin was the attorney for the Landlord and Joe Ernst of Starfield & Smith from Pennsylvania represented the Tenant. The lease value was in excess of $850,000.
